Adventure Stage Chicago (ASC) is professional theater company that creates and tells heroic stories about young people. We do this to engage our community and inspire all of us to be heroes in our own lives. ASC also offers a classroom arts residency program (Neighborhood Bridges), an afterschool youth mentoring program for ages 12-15 (Trailblazers), summer drama camps, and drama instruction for Northwestern Settlement?s Rowe Elementary School and its Early Childhood Education program, Head Start. ASC is the theater program of Northwestern Settlement, a community service organization founded in 1891, which provides Chicago?s West Town community and surrounding neighborhoods with wrap-around social service, educational, and arts programs.
