The Art Institute of Chicago is home to the greatest collection of Impressionist paintings outside of Paris, including works by Monet, Renoir, Seurat, and Van Gogh. Hours: The museum is open Monday 11:00–5:00; closed on Tuesday; open Wednesday 11:00-5:00; Thursday 11:00–8:00; and Friday through Sunday 11:00-5:00. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s days. Admission: Complete admission information is available at artic.edu/visit.
