Dasher Dash 5K Race

Get ready to dash through downtown Rockford in holiday style at the Dasher Dash 5K! This family-friendly, holiday-themed race is open to participants of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re running for a new personal record or enjoying a festive walk with friends, you’ll get a chance to experience Rockford’s downtown in its holiday best. Every participant will receive a commemorative finisher medal and race shirt, with awards for the top male and female finishers, top masters, and first through third place in each age group.

Show off your festive spirit by joining the Dasher Dash 5K Costume Contest! Contestants can compete as individuals or groups, with prizes awarded for the most creative and fun costumes in both Adult and Kids categories. Judging will take place at the Rock River Multisport Tent by the start line. Costumes must be worn for the duration of the race to qualify, and winners will be announced during the awards ceremony at the post-race party.

Celebrate your run (or cheer on the runners) at the post-race gathering outside Memorial Hall! Join us for a fun-filled awards ceremony, s’mores, hot chocolate, and a cash bar for holiday beverages. Stay afterward to grab the perfect spot for watching Rockford’s annual holiday parade.
