Greek Public History Museum in Chicago

Located in the heart of Greektown, the National Hellenic Museum boasts a contemporary design and distinctive setting for all your special events. Whether it is an elegant dinner for 300 or a board meeting for 20, our versatile spaces are perfect for any occasion.

The Museum's signature Rooftop Terrace features a spectacular panoramic view of Greektown and Chicago's iconic skyline and accommodates up to 250 guests for standing receptions. The 3,600-square-foot terrace is home to three gardens, including an Illinois prairie garden with plant species native to Northeastern Illinois. Inside the Museum, the John P. Calamos, Sr. Great Hall provides 5,300 square feet of multi-purpose space capable of hosting intimate parties, and larger events for up to 300 guests for a seated dinner, or 600 for standing receptions. Perfect for galas, work holiday parties, award ceremonies wedding ceremonies and receptions.

The Dr. Mary Dochios Kamberos Special Events Hall features state-of-the-art lighting and technology for a range of presentations, performances, lectures, film screenings, cocktail parties, and private receptions. The hall provides 1,700 square feet of flexible event space, perfect for meetings for 20 to 100 attendees. The National Hellenic Museum is an award-winning cultural institution that offers a unique setting with an alluring skyline view.
